Following are brief descriptions of the classes most commonly offered by J. Mavin Yoga.

Class Descriptions

Please consult with Jenn if you have any questions about which classes on the schedule are a good fit for your current level of physical abilities.

Core+: From your shoulders to your hips, and everything in-between, you core is responsible for strength in movement, postural support, and balance. Core+ combines 30-minutes of core centered training with 30-minutes of a basic yoga practice to promote balance, strength and flexability to your body’s central powerhouse...and beyond! This class is perfect for everyone as many options will be provided throughout class allowing participants to modify or challenge as individually desired.

Multi-level Yoga: This Hatha yoga class will consists of flowing sequences of movements (vinyasas) to build heat as well as static poses (asanas) to balance strength and flexibility. Each class will conclude with a period of breath awareness and relaxation. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required.

In the event that Carlisle Community schools have adjusted hours due to inclement weather, classes will be canceled accordingly.
